District 8 and the Second Chance

Sometimes, politicians say the darnedest things. Take JD Vance, for example. 

Our VP was asked about the upcoming midterm elections on a recent podcast.

​"Give us another chance, or give us another couple of years, to continue to work on the amazing things that we've been doing for the past two years," he pleaded.

Fascinating! Now, let's think about this from an operational point of view.

What is he asking for? Your thoughts and prayers will always be welcome, but he really wants more: He wants you to send him a Congress that will support the Trump agenda.

OK, so let's say you're sympathetic and you want to help him out. You can't do anything about District 18 in Alabama or District 28 in California. You can only focus on the district where you live, meaning District 8, right here in Texas.

If you want a Congress to rubberstamp EVERY SINGLE THING proposed by JD and his boss, put an X in the box for Jessica Hart Steinmann. 

BUT...

If you have a hard time paying for gas, food, housing, medical insurance, and many other items...

If your kids can't find jobs...

If... if... if...

Then you'll be less inclined to give JD a free pass for another two years.

Instead, you'll cast your vote for Laura Jones. Can she fix that big array of problems all by herself? Of course not. But she'll join with other responsible adults, and together they will stop this administration from driving our country right over the cliff.
