Two women are running against each other in the upcoming November election. They both want to represent Texas Congressional District 8 in the US House of Representatives.

Laura Jones has not sworn allegiance to ANYONE, and this includes anyone in the Democratic Party.

Rival Jessica Steinmann has totally aligned herself with a senile, degenerate nut who lives in the White House.

Her beloved Trump campaigned on a "Drain the Swamp" message.

Now, speaking of draining things...

Contractors working for the National Park Service recently drained the Lincoln Memorial Reflecting Pool to make it ready for repairs. As part of that effort, a $1.7 million NO-BID contract was given to Greenwater Services, owned by Trump donor John Cafaro, who, like Trump, has a criminal record.

This contract was in addition to ANOTHER no-bid contract for $14.7 million, awarded to Virginia-based Atlantic Industrial Coatings for the same reason; namely, "urgent need". That business is the one that was paid to spread blue waterproofing material on the reflecting pool’s concrete floor.

As you've probably heard, this entire project is an ongoing fiasco.

I have one thing to say to Republicans in District 8:

If you can't bring yourself to vote for Democrat Laura Jones, then you have two ethical choices: Either vote for a write-in or don't vote at all. But for the sake of all that is good and honorable in this country, do not vote for Trump-enabler Jessica Steinmann.
