The TRUTH... according to GasBuddy.com

In her press release of March 3rd, 2026, Jessica Steinmann thanked Donald Trump for helping to bring about "lower gas prices".

And here we see the truth, compliments of the data collection firm GasBuddy.com.

From mid-August 2024 to mid-September 2025, gas prices showed little volatility. A little up some of the time, a little down some of the time, but altogether, not a lot of movement.

From the end of August 2025 to the first week in January 2026, we saw a drop of about 40 cents per gallon. Good news, right?

But then, our fearless leader decided that Iran had to be bombed immediately.

In a matter of days, all that good news disappeared from GasBuddy's Retail Price Chart. Suddenly, amid the chaos that always accompanies WAR, our average price-per-gallon shot straight up. Not at a 45-degree angle, mind you; I mean literally straight up.

And as smoldering oil tankers drift aimlessly in the Straight of Hormuz, we can thank Lawyer Jessica Steinmann for levelling with us and giving us the straight scoop.
